Seamless Integration
Instead of making the stem one piece with the handlebar, we eliminated it completely. The Baslerstab XC is mounted directly to the fork, providing a sleek look and minimal weight. We've optimized the geometry to maintain the ideal grip position. For the Baslerstab XC, we added the ability to fine tune reach by adding spacers (sold separately) between fork and handlebar. Despite just weighing 236 g, it passed the hardest testing standards.

Reach Adjust
The unique construction of the Baslerstab XC allows to fine tune reach by using spacers. Bike fit is a huge performance factor in XC racing, which this additional adjustment supports. We offer 5 mm and 10 mm spacers, which can be used individually or stacked together for a total of 15 mm adjustment range.
Bladder molding
Our innovative design combines the strengths of two different manufacturing processes: For the handlebars, we use the bladder molding process, which is suitable for producing lightweight, high-performance tubular structures. The unique design of the Baslerstab allows us to to compress the complete carbon structure by the pressure inside the bladder, achieving high and consistent compaction of the material.
Forged Aluminium
To ensure maximum resilience, we manufacture the clamp from forged aluminum. Thanks to a carefully optimized design that specifically distributes stresses, we achieve a weight that is comparable to that of a carbon clamp. This innovative combination of material and design offers the superior stiffness and reliability of aluminum while saving weight - a decisive advantage for demanding bikers who do not want to compromise on safety and performance.
